San José, January 5, 2018. Empresa Portuaria Quetzal (EPQ) keeps supporting the port community to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants. Recently, EPQ donated more than 20 truckloads of sand to the Municipality of San José, which will be used for different projects.
This is not the first time that this type of donations has been made. The City Hall provides the trucks and EPQ contributes with the human resource. Sergio Enrique Monzón, city council member of San José Municipality, said that they removed the donated sand from one of EPQ´s properties.
“The material will be used to build the school at the community October 20 and to repair the dirt roads of the Nazareth neighborhood,” said Monzón. He expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Municipality of San José.
“The City Hall and EPQ have worked together for the development to the Port. We appreciate the unconditional help “, said Monzón.
