Temporary Customs Program

Temporary Customs Program is a place authorized by the Customs Service to store merchandise, while the request for a customs operation is presented.

It is responsible for the safekeeping of the merchandise located in its properties, lots and warehouses. It is also in charge of the administration of the verification facilities and coordinate the transfer of the goods to the joint inspection site.

CONTROL SYSTEM

The Temporary Customs Program shall have controls for the reception and exit of merchandise and containers through an inventory that allows the efficient verificacion of the stock.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

According to letter H), article 115 of the Código Aduanero Uniforme Centroamericano, RECAUCA (Central American Uniform Customs Code Regulation), the Temporary Customs Program has the obligation to assign the facilities for inspection of the merchandise, which must meet the specifications indicated by the customs service.
